So after long debates with myself, I’ve decided to start this blog.

First things first: I love writing. Like other creative outlets I love, like video and music production, writing has allowed me to creatively express myself, vent my emotions, and translate my thoughts, oftentimes with more clarity than when I’m simply speaking aloud.

Secondly, my hope is that, since this blog is outside an academic setting, I can be even more creative and talk about a much wider range of things, as well as topics I’m actually interested in delving into, as opposed to topics I’m forced to cover for the sake of  academia.

Thirdly, this isn’t the first blog I’ve made; I actually think I’ve started 3 total blogs in my life including this one. The other two didn’t last very long. I passion dwindled as time went on and I grew tired of the subject matters I was writing about. And so my hope is that this blog will be more productive, more purposeful, and therefore last longer than my other attempts at blogging.
